The Assistant starts with Trip context

The AI Trip Assistant is most useful after a Trip already exists. Instead of starting from a blank conversation, it can work with the current Trip context and help you continue planning.

Ask practical questions

Useful requests include asking about places related to the itinerary, checking weather or travel context where supported, or exploring alternatives when a day no longer fits your plans.

Examples:

  • “Find a good dinner option near this day's final stop.”
  • “What should we change if the weather is poor?”
  • “Make day three less rushed.”
  • “Suggest an alternative activity close to our current route.”

Treat changes as planning decisions

When the Assistant proposes an itinerary change, review it before relying on it. Confirm important opening hours, transport, reservations, and local restrictions separately.

Keep the Trip as the source of truth

The benefit of an in-Trip Assistant is that useful planning can lead back to the shared itinerary. Avoid keeping important decisions only inside a chat when the rest of the group needs to see them.
