Plan a Trip on Meet4Trips
Start with a name, a destination, and the days you’ll actually spend. The day-by-day plan is the heart of the trip — a short story still helps people decide to join.
You do not need a perfect plan to start
A Meet4Trips trip is a page other travelers can find, read, and ask to join. It is not a booking confirmation. Sketch the trip you actually want — then invite people, or leave it public so compatible travelers can discover it.
You can fill in the form before you sign in. A draft stays in this browser until you are ready to save.
The day-by-day plan is the trip
The itinerary is what other travelers join. Add at least one day with a place or something to do. It does not have to be finished — an honest sketch is enough, and you can keep editing after you save.
What else you need to publish
Also start with:
- A name people will remember (for example, “7 days in Japan · Tokyo & Kyoto”).
- Where you are going — at least one country. Add cities or landmarks if you know them.
- A short story: who it is for, the vibe, and what you hope to do.
Dates, photos, tags, budget, and packing notes are optional. The plan comes first; the rest can wait.
Help people picture the trip
Add a few places so the map and cover photos have something to work with. Photos for the trip card and the top of the page are optional, but they make a huge difference when someone is browsing.
Tags such as hiking, food, or family help similar travelers find you.
Public by default — private when you need it
Leave the trip public if you want it to show up in search and attract companions. Turn on private if only people you invite should see it. You can still share a private trip later with a view-only or invite link.
Preview, then save
When the basics feel right, preview how the trip will look to others. If you are not signed in yet, that is the moment to create a free account — your draft comes with you.

After you save
