Create a Trip with the AI Trip Generator

Start with the trip you actually want

The AI Trip Generator is designed for the moment when you know roughly where and when you want to travel, but do not want to assemble every day manually.

1. Open the AI Trip Generator.
2. Enter the destination or destinations you are considering.
3. Add your travel dates when you know them.
4. Describe useful preferences such as pace, interests, food, outdoor activities, or the kind of places you want to prioritize.
5. Generate the trip and review the proposed itinerary before treating it as final.

Review before you save

AI-generated plans are a starting point, not a booking guarantee. Check opening days, travel times, seasonal conditions, and any reservations that matter to you. If a day looks too busy, simplify it before saving.

Make the prompt useful

Specific constraints usually produce a more useful plan than a generic request. For example, instead of asking for “Japan for one week,” describe the season, preferred pace, whether you want cities or nature, and any fixed arrival or departure points.

Continue planning after generation

Once the Trip exists, you can use Trip Details and the AI Trip Assistant to continue working with the plan. The goal is to move from an empty page to a shared, editable trip rather than generate a document you never revisit.
