Trip Details is the shared planning surface

A Trip is more useful than a static itinerary when everyone can return to the same place to understand the current plan.

Itinerary

Use the itinerary to understand the sequence of places and activities. Keep it realistic enough that participants can use it for actual coordination rather than treating every suggestion as mandatory.

Participants and roles

Participant information helps you understand who is currently part of the Trip and who has moderation responsibilities. Membership inside Meet4Trips should not be interpreted as identity verification.

Comments and collaboration

Use comments or available collaboration tools for decisions that other participants should be able to revisit. If a discussion changes the plan materially, update the Trip rather than leaving the final decision buried in a thread.

AI Trip Assistant

The Assistant can help refine the plan and answer Trip-related questions. See the dedicated AI Trip Assistant Guide for practical examples rather than treating it as a generic chatbot.

Sharing

Use the sharing method that matches the permission you intend to grant: public viewing, private view-only access, or membership invitation.
