A moderator manages the Trip boundary
The moderator's job is to keep participation and planning coherent. That can include reviewing join requests, deciding who can participate, managing invitations, and helping the group keep the shared Trip useful.
Review join requests in context
When a traveler requests to join, look at the information they chose to share on their profile and whether their expectations appear compatible with the Trip. Approval is a product permission decision, not an identity check or safety certification.
Use the right invitation method
Invite people when you actually want them to become participants. If you only want someone to see a private Trip without joining, use a view-only sharing method when available instead of a membership invitation.
Keep decisions understandable
A Trip works better when participants know the plan, dates, and collaboration expectations. If the Trip is still highly tentative, say so clearly rather than letting new members assume everything is fixed.
Moderate the plan, not people's lives
Meet4Trips helps define who can participate in the Trip workspace. It does not replace real-world judgment. Participants should still make their own decisions about bookings, money, safety, and whether they are comfortable traveling together.
